Webbing must be protected when used on rough or sharp objects. Strap assemblies which are cut, worn or otherwise damaged should NOT be used. Strap assemblies should never be tied into knots and should never be used for overhead lifting. A strap is only as good as its weakest component, including the point of attachment.
